Preamble

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Recognizing the profound contributions of Islamic civilization to humanity, the World Islam Expo (WIE) is established as a global platform dedicated to fostering unity, promoting education, advocating for social justice, and facilitating economic and cultural collaboration among the ummah and beyond. Guided by the principles of the Quran and Sunnah, WIE seeks to inspire a renewed commitment to progress, innovation, and cooperation in addressing contemporary challenges.

Article I: Name and Purpose

The name of this organization shall be the World Islam Expo (WIE), operating under the governance of the WIE Global Network, headquartered in Singapore. WIE shall serve as a hub for exhibitions, forums, and strategic initiatives that promote global unity, leadership, and cultural exchange within the Muslim world and with other communities.

Article II: Vision

WIE envisions a unified global community, driven by Islamic principles of justice, collaboration, and innovation, working together to address global challenges and foster harmony.

Article III: Mission

The mission of WIE is to unite, inspire, and mobilize individuals, organizations, and nations toward the collective advancement of the ummah and humanity. Through leadership, education, and collaboration, WIE shall showcase the contributions of Islamic civilization, address contemporary issues, and create a sustainable platform for positive impact.

Article IV: Core Values

WIE is committed to the following fundamental values:

  1. Unity – Promoting inclusivity and collaboration among diverse Muslim communities and beyond.
  2. Justice – Advocating for fairness, equity, and compassion in all endeavors.
  3. Integrity – Upholding ethical standards and accountability in all actions.

Article V: Objectives and Goals

To fulfill its mission, WIE shall pursue the following objectives:

  1. Foster Global Unity – Build bridges across Muslim communities, sects, and nations to strengthen collective identity and purpose.
  2. Advance Education – Provide resources, scholarships, and opportunities to promote learning and knowledge-sharing.
  3. Advocate for Social Justice – Address inequities, defend the oppressed, and promote sustainable development.
  4. Promote Interfaith and Intercultural Dialogue – Engage in meaningful conversations to foster mutual understanding and cooperation.
  5. Empower Leadership – Develop leaders who embody Islamic values and can address modern challenges effectively.
  6. Celebrate Islamic Contributions – Showcase the achievements of Islamic civilization in history and its relevance to contemporary global progress.

Article VI: Key Initiatives

Section 1: World Islam Expo Summit

WIE shall convene an annual World Islam Expo Summit that serves as the flagship event of the organization. This summit shall:

  • Showcase contributions, challenges, and opportunities within the Muslim world.
  • Feature panel discussions, exhibitions, workshops, and networking opportunities.
  • Launch key initiatives and celebrate milestones of the ummah’s progress.

Section 2: Educational Programs

WIE shall prioritize education through:

  • Scholarships for underprivileged students.
  • Online learning platforms offering Islamic and contemporary knowledge.
  • Workshops and leadership training programs to develop future leaders.

Section 3: Social Justice Campaigns

WIE shall actively support social justice by:

  • Offering policy recommendations for equitable governance.

Section 4: Economic Empowerment

To strengthen economic resilience within the ummah, WIE shall:

  • Support entrepreneurs through sponsorships, mentorship, and training programs.
  • Facilitate trade and economic cooperation among Muslim nations.

Section 5: Cultural Exchange and Dialogue

WIE shall foster greater understanding through:

  • Art, literature, and heritage showcases celebrating Islamic contributions.
  • Platforms for discussion on common global challenges.

Article VII: Organizational Structure

Section 1: Central Coordinating Council (CCC)

The Central Coordinating Council (CCC) shall serve as the governing body, responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of WIE’s operations. It shall consist of scholars, thought leaders, and experts from various fields and regions who guide WIE’s mission and priorities.

Section 2: Regional Chapters

WIE shall establish Regional Chapters worldwide to implement its initiatives at a grassroots level. These chapters shall:

  • Engage with local communities to address region-specific challenges.
  • Organize local events and activities in alignment with WIE’s objectives.

Section 3: Advisory Board

An Advisory Board shall provide specialized guidance on matters relating to education, social justice, economic development, and interfaith efforts.

Section 4: General Membership

Membership in WIE shall be open to individuals and organizations who align with its mission and principles. Members shall contribute through active participation, financial sponsorship, or volunteerism.

Article VIII: Membership and Participation

Section 1: Eligibility

Membership shall be open to all individuals, organizations, and institutions committed to WIE’s principles and objectives.

Section 2: Benefits

Members shall enjoy:

  • Access to exclusive resources and events.
  • Opportunities to participate in global initiatives.
  • A platform to contribute to decision-making and policy discussions.

Section 3: Responsibilities

Members shall be expected to:

  • Actively contribute to its initiatives.
  • Advocate for the mission and vision of WIE on global and local platforms.

Article IX: Funding and Sponsorship

WIE shall be financially sustained through:

  1. Membership Fees – Contributions from registered members.
  2. Sponsorships – Support from businesses, organizations, and philanthropic individuals.
  3. Revenue from Events and Publications – Income generated through expos, summits, and educational materials.
  4. Grants and Endowments – Support from institutions aligned with WIE’s objectives.

Article X: Amendments and Review

This Charter may be amended through a resolution approved by the Central Coordinating Council (CCC), ensuring alignment with WIE’s mission and evolving global needs.

Article XI: Call to Action
