World Islam Expo (WIE) Terms of Sponsorships
1. Sponsorship Policy & Acceptance
The acceptance of any sponsorship, contribution, or grant is at the sole discretion of World Islam Expo (WIE). WIE will only accept sponsorships that align with its mission of global Muslim unity, leadership, and progress, ensuring they are used to support initiatives that benefit the Ummah and humanity.
All references to “donation,” “donor,” or “donate” within any communication, materials, or platforms of WIE are explicitly intended to mean sponsorship, and not donations in any charitable or tax-deductible nature.
All sponsorships are voluntary, non-refundable, and non-tax-deductible as per the laws of the sponsor’s residing country. WIE is headquartered in Singapore, and all sponsorships are processed in Singapore Dollars (SGD).
No irrevocable sponsorship, whether outright or recurring, will be accepted if it risks jeopardizing the financial security of the sponsor.
2. Financial, Legal, and Tax Disclaimer
WIE does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice regarding sponsorships. Sponsors are encouraged to seek guidance from their professional advisors before making a commitment. Any sponsorship made to WIE is not tax-deductible under Singaporean law or the laws of any sponsoring individual or entity.
3. Acceptable Forms of Sponsorship
WIE will accept the following forms of sponsorship, subject to review and approval:
✅ Cash contributions (via Stripe and other payment platforms)
✅ Publicly traded securities
✅ In-kind services, accepted at WIE’s discretion
Other forms of contributions, such as real estate, personal property, non-liquid securities, or in-kind gifts with restrictions, will undergo review before acceptance, ensuring they do not pose legal, financial, or ethical concerns for WIE.
4. Acknowledgment & Recognition
WIE will provide sponsorship acknowledgments in accordance with applicable regulations. While sponsorship receipts for cash and publicly traded securities will reflect their value, non-cash contributions will not be assigned a monetary value.
Sponsorships do not constitute a commercial transaction or exchange for services but are a voluntary show of support towards WIE’s mission.
5. Confidentiality & Sponsor Intent
WIE respects the intent of sponsors, particularly those contributing to specific initiatives or requesting anonymity. Information about anonymous sponsors will be restricted to essential personnel only.
6. Ethical Sponsorship Practices
- WIE does not engage in commission-based sponsorships.
- WIE does not compensate third parties for directing sponsorships or sponsors to the organization.
- WIE ensures that all sponsorships are aligned with ethical and legal standards to maintain the integrity of its mission.
